The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has threatened Apple with a 25 percent import rate on the iPhone sold, but it was not produced, in the country.
The President issued a warning on the social platform of his truth on Friday.
He said: “I have long told (executive chief) Tim Cook about this.
“I hope their iPhone that will be sold in the United States will be produced and built in the United States, not India, or other places.

“If it’s not the problem, the tariff of at least 25 percent must be paid by Apple to the US”
Trump has long demanded Apple to build an iPhone, its most important product in the US
Experts argue that this will require a large investment and make smartphones drastically more expensive.
Under Cook’s leadership, Apple has built a supply chain in Asia over the past few decades with large factories, especially in China.
