UCL: Arsenal established a new record in the quarterfinals of the second stage vs madrid

The Arsenal established a new record after eliminating Real Madrid headlines at the UEFA Champions League this season.

The Gunners took a 3-0 advantage in the first leg to Santiago Bernabéu and won a 2-1 victory to advance the 5-1 semifinals together.

It was Arsenal’s second victory on his second visit to the famous Casa de Madrid.

Wednesday’s victory means that Arsenal is the first team to win each of its first two games against Real Madrid in Bernabéu in all competitions.

After seeing its 13-minute penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois, Bukayo Saka made peace by putting the men of Mikel Arteta 1-0 in 65 minutes.

But only two minutes after Saka’s goal, Vinicius Junior matched for Madrid.

However, any hope of return was annulled when Gabriel Martinelli noted the Arsenal winner in the third minute of additional time.

After the victory against Madrid, Arsenal would now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals.

The other semifinals will be among the former winners of the Barcelona Champions League and Inter Milan.
