The goalkeeper coach of Nigeria’s national team Jean Daniel Padovani says that Stanley Nwabali’s late rescue in the 2-1 victory of Ghana’s team in the Unity Cup made her proud, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.
Nwabali made a late salvation in the 2-1 victory that could easily have seen Ghana to draw the level initially by moving the goal of the goal, before making another quick reaction to gather the ball.
In reaction to the rescue of the United United man, Padovani published a video of salvation on his Instagram page with a legend that reveals how proud it is of that moment in the game, which seals Nigeria’s place in the final of the tournament against Jamaica.
“When you are a goalkeeper coach, any level at which you are training, see your goalkeeper doing such savings in the last minutes will surely make you feel proud and happy,” he published.
“Here, Stanley Nwabali, of the Nigerian national team and Chippa Unidos in South Africa, during the International Party against Ghana,” he concluded.
The coach who was appointed by Eric Chelle in his appointment in February will wait for more of the same when Nigeria plays in the final on Saturday from any of the goalkeepers who will be in the goal.
