Valencia rules out a permanent agreement for Umar Sadiq despite the impressive loan spell

According to the reports, Valencia has decided not to sign the Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq, permanently, despite its solid contributions since arriving on loan in January.

Sadiq joined the Che de Real Sociedad in a six -month agreement and has enjoyed a notable resurgence in the Mestalla.

Before his loan change, the 28 -year -old had suffered a difficult spell in the real one, largely due to an anterior cross ligament injury that derails his impulse and left him fighting for the shape in two seasons.

However, the Nigerian striker has shown flashes of his former self since the change of year.

He has scored six goals in 19 appearances in the League, helping Valencia to stay away from the fears of descent and bringing a very necessary spark to his attack.

Given his rebirth, there was initial hopes that Valencia could retain him beyond the current campaign.

But according to brand reports, the Spanish club has chosen not to activate the purchase option of € 9 million included in the loan agreement.

Financial limitations and change priorities have been cited as the main reasons behind the decision.

Valencia has already paid a loan rate of € 500,000 to the Real Sociedad in January and covered SADIQ’s full salary during the loan period.

With a limited budget before the summer window, the club chooses to invest in other areas.

A return to society remains a possibility, the situation there is evolving as the Manager Imanol Sheriff will leave at the end of the season, which could open the door to Sadiq under a new chief coach.

Whether it stays in Spain or opt for a lucrative movement potentially to Qatar, the next step of Sadiq will be crucial when you enter the last stages of your career.
