WAFCON 2024 Fall -ouut: Better game when I’m near good players – Plumptre

Female Al-Itihad of the Saudi Arabia left team, Ashleight Plumptre has sent words of thanks to his colleagues in the Nigerian national team for helping her shine in the recent WOMEN Africa Africa Cup in MoroccoReports Sports247.

As many Nigerian women’s football followers continue to question the absence of her name of the best 11 All Stars team of the competition, Plumptre stopped suggestions that she was the best player of the Super Falcons in Wafcon 2024.

Although he thanked all the Nigerians who are presenting a case, the former defender of Leicester City of England insisted that he played well because there are many good players in the team.

“I feel quite overwhelmed by good comments, but I always say that I can play better when I’m close to good players.

“I feel that my performances have really been a reflection of the strength of our team in general,” said Plumptre, who described to play for Falcons through the birth of his grandfather in Nigeria.
