Gabriel Magalhaes has said Arsenal will expect Manchester City at the Emirates in the first leg of the Premier League.
Arsenal came close to securing one of their biggest wins of the season despite falling to 10-man Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday.
But a goal from John Stone in the 98th minute saved the 2-2 draw and the points were shared.
Gabriel was involved in altercations with City players, most notably Erling Haaland, who was caught throwing the ball at the Brazilian after Stones equalised.
“We are expecting Man City at our ground,” Gabriel said, via John Cross of the Mirror
“Haaland? I don’t remember what he did. It’s normal. But anyway, congratulations.”
“Battle, war, provocation is normal and part of the game, it’s over now…”
