“We will smoke the opposition in Edo,” APC chairman warns ADC supporters (Video)

The Chairman of the Congress of All Progressive (APC) in the state of Edo, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, has warned former presidential candidates from the Labor Party (LP), Peter Obi and supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), their safety is not guaranteed in the state.

Tenebe, who was trapped in the video shared on the social media platform on Monday, also supported the previous statement credited to the Governor of Monday Okpebholo about LP candidates.

Okpebholo last week warned Obi not to come to the state without taking permission.

In the video recorded shortly after the APC preliminary selection in the state on Saturday, Tenebe also threatened ADC supporters to be very careful or leave the country if they insisted on identifying with the party.

“I want to send a message to people who call themselves ADC in this situation. They must be very careful. Because we only have the remaining PDP, not ADC. If you want to identify with ADC, you must leave Edo for us,” Tenebe said.

On the Governor’s Commemoration to Obi, the Chairperson of the APC added:

“Well, since morning, when the preliminary election was ongoing, there was criticism in all the press on the statement made by the governor yesterday when he received the rest of PDP Edo Central, when he said Peter Obi had to take permission for a general meeting. I thought the governor was right to say that.

“He is right. We support him in whatever he says. So, whatever is said by anyone, they just say trash.”

He also vowed to win the upcoming local government elections to confirm the popularity of his party, saying that anyone who prevents the ruling party’s way of “smoking.”

“We will campaign as if we have never campaigned in this state before. Because the way we have taken this election seriously. We want to emphasize that we won the last governor election extraordinary.

“We want to prove to the world that we really win the election. We will not leave the missed stone. We are also sure that anyone who tries to block our path, we will smoke that person,” he added.
