Following the recent improvement in an attack by Boko Haram rebels in northwest, Air Marshall Hassan Abubakar Chief of Air Staff, had sworn that the Nigerian Air Force would immediately destroy terrorists.
Abubakar reacts to the devastating attack last weekend which claimed the lives of eight people and were injured more than 20 people at Borno State.
The head of Naf, who made an appointment when he visited the air component of Hadin Kai’s operation in Maiduguri on Sunday, reiterated the determination of the troops to convince the rebels through sustainable air operations and the spread of sophisticated war technology.
The head of the head of the air was also in line with the alarm which was appointed last week by the Governor of the State Borno, Prof. Babagana Zulum, for the deteriorating security conditions in the region, after new attacks in several communities in the state.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force headquarters, Air Commodore Edward Ehimen Ejodame, the Head of Naf promised that it was only a matter of time before terrorists would be defeated and destroyed from the country.
While praising the courage and resilience of the frontlines, the head of the air promised to be sustainable support to strengthen their efforts in the ongoing counter-sake operation.

“Air Marshal Abubakar stressed that their courage and resilience in dealing with difficulties did not escape attention.
“His visit, marked by personal interaction with troops, underlines its deep appreciation of their dedication and vital roles played by AirPower in neutralizing threats and protecting the community.
“After receiving an operational briefing from the field commander, Marshal Air Abubakar repeated Naf’s commitment to maintain air superiority by utilizing precision air strikes, real time intelligence, and the latest technology.
“He also emphasized the important role of public support in achieving eternal peace, highlighting the importance of unity, inter-institutional collaboration, and civil cooperation in the war against the rebellion.
“Referring to the commitment of the Nigerian Air Force to maintain dominance in the battle room, CAS promised to sustainable investment in the latest technology to empower the frontline units,” the statement added.
