We’ll tweak Strategy against Mali – Finidi

Nigeria will face Mali at 9pm today in their second international match, following their 2-1 victory over Ghana on Friday in Marrakech.

Finidi stated that the team would stick to a 3-5-2 formation but wouldn’t hesitate to switch to a 4-3-3 if it didn’t work out.

Speaking of Benjamin Tanimu’s debut for the national team against Ghana, he praised his confidence and composure.

“I was quite impressed. You know, the young lads being his first time wearing the Super Eagles jersey, I think it’s a lot. It’s a lot to ask of a young lad but I think he did so well,” the Coach said.

He urged the fans to keep supporting the team, regardless of who is later appointed as the coach.
