Senate President Godswill Akpabio has said that when President Tinubu completes his term with Nigeria, many people will no longer recognise Nigeria.
Speaking at Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja, Senator Akpabio said: “I have no doubt that when the President completes his term in the country, in seven years, many people will no longer recognise the FCT and will no longer recognise Nigeria.
So, all I can say is: let’s continue to pray for him and have hope that the challenges you see today, tomorrow, you will not see them again.”
He further commended Tinubu for choosing Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister.
“So, I think you are a square peg in a square hole and I have to thank the President for having the eye to spot those who can do it and bringing them in,” Akpabio told the gathering, describing the project as a hub that will help decongest traffic and address insecurity, among other things. “He did that in Lagos and today, Lagos is one of the best; one of the largest economies in Africa when you talk about cities,” he said.
