Why I invited Fisayo Dele-Bashiru — Jose Peseiro

Jose Peseiro has explained why he extended an invite to Hatayspor star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru for the friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

Dele-Bashiru is one of the many uncapped doing well in Europa, but he’s only new player invited for the encounters.

“For Fisayo this is the first time he will be with us and this is thebest time to check him among the group.”

“I cannot always call new players because there’s not enough time,we have the qualification for the 2026 World Cup and AFCON. Butwe want to see him” Peseiro said.

The England born played has enjoyed a fine start to life in Turkish Super Lig, and he’s currently one of the stand out stars from the league.

The attacker has played eight games for Hatayspor this season and scored four times and assisted once.

Dele-Bashiru hopes to make his debut for Nigeria against Roberto Mancini’s led Saudi Arabia.
