A former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Thursday slammed the Minister of Federal Capital (FCT), Nyesom Wike, because people who did not respect.
He also challenged Wike to walk with him from Abuja to Port Harcourt to prove his popularity.
Former Governor of the State Rivers spoke in the television program channel, Politics Today.

Amaechi is a key member of the Splinter group that emerged from the Democratic People’s Party (PDP) and joined the key elements in the Nigerian Congress (ACN) and Congress for Progressive Changes (CPC) to form all Progressive Congress (APC) in 2014.
Wike on the other hand, remains in PDP and works for the offer of goodluck Jonathan Jonathan’s re -election the following year.
He then replaced Amaechi as the governor of the river state while the last was appointed Minister of Transportation by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The couple no longer saw an eye-to-eyes since the election disaster more than 10 years ago.
In the program, Amaechi warned the opposition coalition so as not to focus on Wike.
He said: “Let the FCT Minister come, let’s walk from the airport to Port Harcourt, no police, no soldiers, no, only the two of us.
“I don’t know why he doesn’t respect people like us; I am older. I brought him into politics. Who is he?
“If the opposition continues to focus on him, we will be disturbed from making people know that the selection of 2027 is between people – there is no party, no ADC, there is no, this is not – versus the Tinubu government.”
