‘Wise Decision,’ APC praises the defect of Gov Uno from PDP

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Work Committee (NWC) has expressed happiness over the Governor of the State Akwa Ibom, switching Umo Eno to the party.

A few weeks after the governor described the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the wrong aircraft, he threw the party for APC on Friday.

In a statement posted on platform X, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described Uno’s transition to the party as a wise decision that would ensure greater progress from the state of Akwa Ibom and its people.

He stressed that the governor would be fully accommodated in the party.

The statement reads: “The National Work Committee of all Progressive Congress (APC) under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is happy with the news of the Governor of the State Akwa Ibom, Umo Eno’s decision to join our great party.

“We are sure that his wise decision will persuade greater progress from the state of Akwa Ibom and people.

“Our great party convinces the governor about cooperation and accommodation in full in the APC family, because we continue to grow the party and work together towards the full realization of the new hope agenda of the President of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the good and benefits of all Nigerians.”
