The former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, firmly denied having the ambition of the President for 2027, which stated that he would not fight against the President of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next general election.
Reacting to the video that reappeared from a general meeting held in 2022, which was claimed by some people wrongly implies the launch of the president’s campaign, Bello said the recording was deliberately misinterpreted to mislead the public.
In a statement issued on Friday by his media director, Michael Ohiare, Bello expressed distrust of old video manipulation and reiterated his full support for the offer of President Tinubu’s re -election.
“While we stated firmly, that our Principal, Bello, did not have the ambition of the 2027 President, we also wanted to emphasize his unrucky commitment for the re -election of President Tinubu in 2027,” the statement said.
Bello praised the current administrative performance, highlighting the significant achievements made apart from the global economic headwinds.

“The index cannot lie. The president and his team have done it very well for the country, despite global challenges. In achievement, he deserves support from Nigerians who are well -intended,” the statement added.
Describing the post as a deliberate wrong information, Ohiare condemned video recirculation as the work of political damage makers.
“Nigeria must ignore the naughty post that insinuates the new presidential support rally as it is – a post that does not make sense by confusing thoughts, without intelligence,” he said.
He further criticized the creator of content that was misleading for ignoring the clear instructions that the video was out of date.
“The assemblers forgot that the 2022 was written boldly in the banner on display. However, they expect people who make sense to not see this as the result of a meal work.”
Ohiare accused Bello’s opponent of launching a continuous smear campaign in an effort to damage his relationship with the President.
“The assemblers have tried hard in the mission of ‘carry-down-down-in-nall-cost’ they against Bello but always failed sadly,” he said.
He also noted that this was not the first attempt to use fake narratives to move the tension between Bello and Tinubu.
“But this latest italics re -posting this 2022 rally again and insinuating that it only happens, there is nothing but mere crime,” he added.
Ohiare urged Nigerians to be aware of political propaganda and ignore the content designed to “create a crisis where there is no.”
“Nigerians must be aware of the clever people who make stories without thinking, only to satisfy their paymasters interests,” he warned.
