The Yobe State government has ordered the closure of all primary and secondary schools ahead of the #EndBadGovernance protests in the state.
A group of Nigerians have planned to stage a nationwide protest to express their dissatisfaction with hunger and other socio-economic challenges caused by the current administration’s policy initiatives from August 1-10.
Director of School Management at the Ministry of State for Primary and Secondary Education, Bukar M. Modu, revealed this in a memo seen by journalists on Tuesday.

Schools will resume teaching and learning activities at the end of the holiday session on Wednesday, instead of August 2.
βThis decision is necessary in light of the planned nationwide protests,β the memo read.
The school will resume academic activities on September 15.
