Youtube tightens the rules for checking the video production produced by AI

Youtube has introduced steps to check the video “Massively produced” and “repeated” on the platform, especially those that give a small value.

This adjustment by the social media video sharing platform, which clarifies the existing restrictions, is widely interpreted as a reaction to the increase in material produced by AI.

The “recurrent content” provisions in the Youtube Monetization Guidelines for the YouTube Mitra (YPP) program will be replaced by “non -authentic content” on July 15, 2025, to be more accurate representing content that is mass produced or repeated.

Henceforth, YouTube will mark the content that is mass produced, recurrent content, video produced by AI-Effort is low, and content mainly for the appearance/advertisements made solely for monetization rather than for pleasure or education.

YouTube in a statement clarifies that, ‘This update does not change the content policy used again for content such as comments, clips, compilation, and reaction video. This format can still be monetized if the creator adds significant original comments, modification, educational value, or entertainment value. ”

” The use of AI tools is still permitted if used to help make and not replace human inputs completely, and if the content comply with all other monetization guidelines. Disclosure is needed when the content has been changed realistically or synthetically, “said the platform in a statement.
