Zaidu Sanusi returns to training with FC Porto

The left-back, who put in an impressive performance for Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, is back on the pitch following his rehabilitation.

Sanusi suffered the injury during a league match between FC Porto and CF Estrella, leading to successful surgery and a lengthy recovery period.

As FC Porto began their pre-season training on Monday, Sanusi was among the players undergoing conditional training.

Looking ahead, Sanusi is optimistic about his contribution to FC Porto’s upcoming campaign, which is aiming for success in the new season.
