Zamfara Group praises Tinubu, Matawalle for the Naic appointment of Danfulani

A defense group based in Zamfara greeted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of State for Defense, dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, for the appointment of the Hon. Yazeed Shehu Danfulani as CEO of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (Naic).

The praise came through a declaration signed by the president of the group, Mr. Imran Usman Bore, who described the appointment as a bold and strategic step towards the Empowerment of young people and the agricultural reform.

According to the Group, the emergency of Danfuflani as Capo Naic is a testimony of the commitment of the administration for innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

“Hon. Danfuflani is a distinct young political figure and a prominent force in the modern Zamfara politics”, reads the declaration.

“Embodies the ideals of innovation, resilience and dedication necessary to advance the agricultural development of Nigeria.”

The group highlighted the pressing need for a strong leadership at the Naic, in particular when Nigeria is preparing with challenges in food production and agricultural insurance between climatic uncertainties and parasites.

“With agriculture that forms the spine of our economy, the relevance of the Naic in guaranteeing the means of existence of farmers cannot be overrated,” said Bore.

He observed that the wealth of experience of Danfuflani and the profound understanding of the agricultural landscape put him in a strong position to guide Naic towards better efficiency and a wider dissemination of farmers.

The group expressed the trust that the new MD would have improved insurance offers and extended the coverage to the previously undergoing agricultural communities.

He also stressed that the appointment is a source of inspiration for young Nigerians, showing that with merit and determination, young people can reach leadership roles and guide national progress.

The North awareness network has also invited other sectors to emulate the appointment by embracing young qualified professionals able to transform leadership.

“While celebrating this milestone, we encourage Danfulani to bring the same zeal and the commitment for this role he has in past efforts,” says the note.
