The Governor hopes that Uzodimma has appointed the 2013 winner of the 2013 winner, Rev. Dr. Divine Eches Divine as his special councilor for religious affairs, reports SilverNews.com.ng.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser Media to the Governor of the Imo State, Oguwike Nwachuku.
The appointment of the immediate past president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (Can), the chapter of the Imo State entered into force on 25 June 2025.
REV ECHES was elected president of Can, an imo state in 2020, a position that renounced this month following a successful delivery to a successor.
In the five years in which Rev ECHES he has retained as he can be head in the state of IMO, he acquitted a credit case, unloading his roles in ways that also brought him the awards from his superiors who worked in the vineyard of God, both inside and outside.
Before Rev ECHES he became president of the State of Can Imo, he had held other key positions in the organization as the secretary; Director of education, the development of youth and women; Deputy secretary of advertising; among others.
A strong member of the Evangelical Church who won the whole ministry (ECWA), Rev ECHES obtained a doctorate in theology and was at different times, chaplain of Enyimba Football Club, ABA and Super Eagles of Nigeria
It comes from Isiala Mbano in the state of imo.
In congratulating myself with Rev ECHES in his new role, Governor Uzodimma expects it to bring his wealth of experience, not only to serve the imo state well, but to take sides in the same to ensure that society is a better place for everyone.
