Football enthusiasts will pay respectively the sum of N3.000 and N1.000 to look at the qualifying match of the FIFA World Cup on Saturday 2026 between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Amavubi del Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
Tickets for the VIP section will go for N3,000 and popular places sell for N1,000 in the centers designated within the metropolis of Uyo from Friday morning.
The director of the marketing and sponsorship of NFF, Alizor Chuks, said on Wednesday: “It is important to let the public know that the NFF security committee has declared a total war to all tickets of the tickets this time. The Faker and Racketeer will be treated.
“All tickets will be scanned upside down. All spectators intend to buy their tickets from accredited ticket sellers. Seller or owners of fake tickets will be arrested and pursued.”
Before the match on Saturday, the Amavubi contingent landed at Victor Atth international airport, Uyo at 5.28 pm on Tuesday. The delegation was led by the newly elected president of the Rwandaise de Football Association Federation (Ferwafa), Fabrice Shema Agoga. The contingent was well welcomed by a team of the local organizing committee and stays at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo.
They are scheduled to train at the Nest of Champions Training field by 16:00 on Wednesday.
In the meantime, the Nigerian field in the four points of Sheraton Hotel, Ikot-Ekpenne has been further expanded with the arrivals of Africa Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman and New Panathinaikos of the Greece striker Cieriel Desser. Both arrived in Uyo on Wednesday morning.
The remaining five players, Victor Osimhen, Christantus Uche, Tolu Arokodare, Samuel Chukwueze and Raphael Onyedika, were expected on Wednesday evening.
