Ribadu vows Nigeria insecurity ‘will end soon’

National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribado on Friday assured Nigerians that insecurity would soon end in the country.

Ribado stated this in Damaturu, Yobe State, while expressing sympathy to residents over the recent bandit attacks in the state.

He commended the armed forces and security agencies for their efforts in fighting insecurity, saying their sacrifices had resulted in improved security.

Ribado noted that the Federal Government has been working around the clock to end insecurity.

“It is only a matter of time before the entire country is secured,” the NSA stated.

Minister of Finance Wale Edun also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the attack.

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni thanked the delegation, saying their visit gave a sense of belonging to the people of Yobe.

He urged Nigerians to continue praying for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
