I will never support Governor Fubara politically again – Wike

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike said on Friday he would never support Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara politically again.

This was conveyed by the Minister in the Politics Today program on Channels Television.

He scolds Fubara for lying about himself.

The former allies fell out last year with Rivers State House of Representatives members and other stakeholders expressing support for the two men individually.

Wike said: “I will never support Fubara in my political life again. Anyone who knows me, this is not about me. People work hard to build a structure.

“People are working hard, you can’t even make it to 50th position. I sacrificed to talk to the Ogoni people, I sacrificed to talk to some other people who let us go down this path.

“You made up that I asked for Rp50 billion, Rp100 billion. You made up lies against me, I raised you, put you here. Today, I have become too demanding.

“No one ever said you were going to kill… You rose from somewhere, why do you deny it? It’s not fair and you want me to sit down.”

“We are all human, being ungrateful is bad, no matter what people call it.”
