Troops raid Delta “Yahoo School,” arrest more than 100 suspected fraudsters

Military personnel from the Nigerian Army Barracks 3 Battalion in Effurun, Delta State, have arrested over 100 youths suspected of carrying out internet fraud during a raid on a facility known as HK “Hustle Kingdom.” The location is believed to be a training center for cybercriminals.

The Army Housing Complex, where the raid took place, is a residential area primarily for retired military officers and civilians. The operation was carried out after intelligence reports revealed the presence of an HK school (Yahoo training) within the complex.

Following the raid, military authorities at the 3rd Battalion Barracks handed over the suspects to police at Ekpan in Uvwie for trial after proper profiling.

When contacted for comment, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest but did not provide specific details on how the suspect was apprehended.
