Nigerian transgender Idris Okuneye popular on social media with the name Bobrisky has denied paying N15 million to officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following allegations made by Very Dark Man.
The transvestite denied the allegations after popular activist and social media influencer Very Dark Man leaked an audio recording of the socialite claiming that she bribed the EFCC with N15 million.
Bobrisky stated in a widely shared audio clip released by VDM that he paid N15 million to unnamed EFCC personnel to drop money laundering charges against him.

But on Wednesday morning, BobrIsky claimed to have completed his prison sentence in an Instagram post, and denied that he had paid EFCC staff to drop money laundering charges against him.
Bobrisky further denounced the widely circulated audio recording as fake, stressing that claims that he was never detained were untrue and should be rejected.
He wrote: “My attention has been drawn to a fake audio recording circulating on the internet stating that I paid 15 million naira to the EFCC, and that I was never in prison… I did not pay any money to the EFCC, which is a big lie. I have served my full sentence, and I am out of prison. Dismiss all false information.”
