The native doctors of Anambra threaten to appoint the shepherds who visit the sanctuaries for spiritual powers while they continue to block

While the government of the State of Anambra continues to block the native doctors of the state, they (native doctors) have threatened to appoint the shepherds who visit their sanctuaries for spiritual powers.

This is since the state has started to fill in a list of false shepherds who presumably visit the sanctuaries of native doctors in search of spiritual powers.

This move followed the protests against what native doctors described as stigmatization and hunting for their members.

Recall that the native doctors, led by the high priest Ikele, had accused the government of the state of harassing their members, claiming that their constitutional right to freedom of religion was violated.

They also stated that the state government had not been able to commit themselves to them to help identify bad actors within their community, stating that the government’s actions were calculated the attempt to undermine the traditional Igboland religion.

One of the members, who identified himself as Mazi Chukwuka Nwankwo, announced that the body had started to fill in a list of false shepherds in the state of anmber.

He said that these false shepherds often visit their sanctuaries in search of spiritual assistance to increase their congregations of the Church.

“Our governor is preaching ecumenism, which means the union of all religions. Do we ask, isn’t traditional religion part of ecumenism? “

“What are we talking about here? Those people who keep night vigils and make up miracles are false and come to us to obtain spiritual powers to increase the size of their congregations. We have always rejected them because it is against our religion to frowned innocent people.

“There are some that even reach the other parts of the country to obtain powers and the so -called holy oil that they use to push people in the name of the setting.”

“Governor Charles Soludo should send Agunechemba to those crusades and night vigils to observe what they do in their churches. Innocent people are amazed by approaching them to buy sacred water, holy oil and holy handkerchiefs, promising that companies of prosperous people. People pay for huge sums of money for these items, but are not paying taxes or withdrawals to the state government, “he said.

Following the growing tension, some shepherds are making frenetic efforts to contact the safety agents, pushing them not to visit their churches, although no security agent has confirmed it.

In the same way, some native doctors started visiting the suspicious churches, issuing warnings that would have been exposed since these shepherds had not been able to speak in them after looking for their help to increase their congregations.

“The government of the State of Anambra should direct its attention to these new generation churches because they are the worst type of scammers. They should also convince us, as well as the public, who are not out for the hunt for witches, native doctors, “he said. [The Recorder]
