The President of the Southern Governors’ Forum (SGF) and the Governor of the State of Ogun, Prince Dapo Inhabitun, has extended deep condolences to his counterpart by Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda following the recent loss of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari.
The deputy governor of the state, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, which represents the governor inhabitu as president of the SGF, transmitted the heartfelt condolences of the forum.
In his observations, the president of the NGF underlined the universal nature of pain and the importance of celebrating a well -lived life.
“There is never a good time to lose a parent, but we take comfort in the life of impact lived, a legacy that lasts in the family and society.
“We pray that Almnipotent Allah accepts his right actions, forgive his deficiencies and grant them Al-Jannatul Firdus. He can also give us all his long life in good health, allowing us to leave the positive legacy for future generations behind it,” he said.
In his separate observations, the executive secretary of the Commission for the promotion of Nigerian investments, Hajia Aisha Rimi, who was in the delegation of the State of Ogun offered special prayers for the deceased Hajiya Safara’u and extended to heartfelt condolences to the governor Radda.
Speaking on behalf of the state government of Katsina, the deputy governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, expressed gratitude to the forum for the visit.
