PDP condemned murder outside the law of seven people in Edo

The Democratic People’s Party (PDP) in the state of Edo has condemned the murder of seven people suspected of being a kidnapper who was angry in Uromi, Esan of the north-east government of the state.

Chairperson of the PDP Guard Committee in the State, Dr. Anthony Aziegbemi, in a statement on Friday in the city of Benin regretted that the population used a retaliation attack because of the rampant kidnapping and rape cases in the community.

He said: “The senator representing the North Edo Senatorial District, Adams Oshomhole, must go up to the senate floor to lift the alarm about this problem.

“Indigenous people have suffered repeated murders, kidnappings, and rape in recent months, have become paranoids and because of frustration, must use murder outside the law.”

He sympathized with the families of the victims and prayed that God would give them fortitude to bear the loss that could not be fixed.

“For the safety of our people and ending this meaningless murder, rape, kidnapping, and destruction of this property, the federal government and state must act quickly.

“We ask Ball President Ahmed Tinubu to immediately take action to prevent further loss of life and ensure the safety and security of Edo and his people.

“Uromi people, after yesterday’s chaos, have lived in fear because of the possibility of retaliation from their relatives and communities killed by the vigilante operators themselves.

“When we speak, the area is quiet, and everyone hides for fear of unknown things,” he added.
