Labor Party Cleaning Muoghalu, Nwosu for the Election of Anambra Governor

The Labor Party screening committee has cleaned the duo of former Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Head of George Muoghalu and Sir John Nwosu, for the party governor election scheduled for April 5 at Anambra State.

Nwosu is the Director of the Presidential/Datti Presidential Campaign Board in the 2023 election.

Secretary of the National Publicity of the Party, Bpk. Obiora Ifoh, revealed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

The screening committee led by the representative of the board of representatives, George Ozodinobi, filtered two governor candidates on Friday.

The committee then submitted the results to the party’s national leadership.

Ozodinobi praised two candidates for being a member of the True Party and praised them for track records and loyalty to party leadership.

He assured them about the non-party party approach in the selection process.

“We will work according to the rules set and we want to convince you about the highest level of transparency during the selection process.

“We will work to ensure that we approach the election as a union home, without revenge.

“This will be a brotherhood contest where everyone in the party will join our flag carrier in the task of the campaign and win the November governor election for Anambra’s safety,” said the chairman.
