The general supervisor of the Redeemer Christian Church of God (RCCG), the shepherd E and Adboye has officially changed the name of the Apapa RCCG family in the favorite family.
The report reported that the rebirth took place on Sunday during its second visit to Trinity Towers, the headquarters of the parish of the city of David di Rccg, which supervises the Apapa family
Accompanied by his wife, the shepherd Folu Adboye, shared that he had received a divine directive to rename this prominent family within the RCCG community.
While preaching from 2 kings 2: 19-24, the Pastor Adboye articulated the need for the Apapa family to have experienced a new outburst of grace, symbolized by the introduction of salt and a new cruce.
He stressed that salt represents the restoration of God of flavor and vitality, the elimination of bitterness, the prevention of demonic influences and the promotion of rapid progress.
The new cruide, explained, symbolizes a new beginning, the recovery of lost glory and a renewed commitment to rekindled spiritual passion.
“If someone had been hot and had become lukewarm, he was now burning again,” said the shepherd Adboye.
Reports reported that the Apapa RCCG family “boasts a rich heritage that began in 1991 in Roxy Cinema, Apapa, with about 50 members under the guidance of the shepherd Tony Rapu.
In just five years, the congregation has extended to over 45 parishes both within Nigeria and internationally, supported by a dedicated workforce of over 500 people.
The mission of the family is to reach Paradise and bring as many people as possible and also feeding leaders and promoting a community that exemplifies excellence, loyalty, character and integrity.
Their objectives include evangelization, the establishment of God’s governance and the shows the meaning of Christianity through innovative and contemporary expressions of their beliefs.
Over the years, the RCCG Apapa family has undergone significant growth and transformation, with various shepherds who carry out key roles in its development.
Following the shepherd Tony Rapu, Pastore Eskor Mfon took the helm and promoted the expansion of the churches of the Apapa family.
After the death of the shepherd Mfon, the pastor Idowu Iluyomade was appointed new leader of the Apapa family.
