The National Sports Commission (NSC) has reinforced its association with the University of Jos (Unijos), the host institution of the Games Association of the University of Nigeria (Nuga) 2025, scheduled to celebrate from November 6 to 16, 2025.
The president of NSC, Shehu Dikko, shared an update on his ‘UNKNOWN‘Manage, revealing details of his meeting with the distinguished senator Grace Bent, the Pro Foreign Minister and President of the Unijos Governing Board.

According to him, the meeting offered the opportunity for discussion focused on preparations for games, key collaboration areas and sustainable benefits for the university.
“This commitment is based on previous meetings between the NSC, the leadership of unique, Nuga executives and other interested parties to guarantee a successful event,” Dikko said.
He reaffirmed the NSC commitment to revitalize Nuga games, positioning them as a crucial platform for the discovery and development of talent within the Nigeria sports pyramid and the Rhines program.
Dikko also expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, and the Minister of State for Education, said Suwaiba, for his support in the renewal of university and school sports, ensuring a more solid basis for future athletes.
