The Bauchi government reopens the school five weeks after closing for Ramadan, said education priorities

Five weeks after closing the school for Ramadan fasting, the state government Bauchi has ordered the reopening of schools throughout the state, with a claim that education is a top priority for the government of Governor Bala Mohammed.

The instructions contained in a statement signed on Friday by the Information and Community Relations Officer at the Ministry of State Education, Jalaludeen Usman, ordered the Principal and Educational Supervisor to ensure that all schools continue immediately.

“An honorable commissioner for education, Dr. Lawal Mohammed Rimin Zayam, wants to remind parents and guardians that the date of commencement back for the continuation of the second term is Sunday, April 6, for daily schools and boarding schools in Bauchi’s state,” the statement said.

“Because education remains a top priority for the state government Bauchi under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed, the Ministry of Education is committed to ensuring the success of all students.

“For this purpose, the ministry will soon start the Jamb CBT training for all sponsored jamb students, empowering them to excel in all examinations sponsored by the Bauchi state government.

“Parents and guardians are advised to ensure that their ward is continued on a specified date to avoid interference with their academic progress,” the statement added.
