South -Kaduna widows, orphans greet the senator for support – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Orphans, widows and other vulnerable people in the south of Kaduna praised Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for giving n11 million and assorted food products to support their well -being.

The donations, made as part of the activities to mark the birthday of the senator, were distributed in the Rafiki orphanage near Kafanchan, the school of training of the Ecwa widows in Zangon Kataf and Gwebiest Center of Kwoi, area of ​​the local government of Jaba (LGA).

Speaking during the distribution, the president of the Committee, Gideon Gwani, said that the commissioned rice, spaghetti, semolina and cartoons of noodles-and are aimed at facilitating the weight for low-income families and humanitarian centers through the senatorial district.

He explained that the gesture was also in honor of the mother of Senator Katung, whose birthday coincided with his.

In every place, the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the senator for remembering them in a moment many are struggling with the increase in the costs of life.

Amina Musa, widow and one of the beneficiaries, said: “Senator Katung has constantly supported us. His generosity brings relief and shows that we are not forgotten”.

Another beneficiary, Martha Auta thanked the legislator for the rescue element, saying “will do a lot to help reduce the costs of life”.

The religious leaders who attended the event also praised the initiative. The former Secretary General of ECWA, Rev. Yunusa Madu, described the gesture as a noble act that reflects the true leadership of the servants. He prayed for the continuous wisdom and strength for the senator.

The president of Islam of Jama’Atu Nasril in Jema’a, Alhassan Garba, said that supporting orphans and widows is not only commendable but also spiritually rewarding. “This is the way leaders gain trust and love for their people,” he said.

President of the State PDP, Hon. Edward Masha, said Senator Katung has improved the party image through his constant awareness of the bases.

Other dignitaries, including the former deputy Hovery Nuhu Bajoga and the former minister Hassan Hyet, praised the senator for using personal goals to touch life.

The leaders of the beneficiaries also praised the legislator. Dr. Felicia Kajang of the Gwetimen Center said that the donation would do a lot to meet the daily needs of the center.
