2027: because northern Nigeria must support Tinubu – Sule

The governor of the state of Nasarawa, Abdullahi sule, said that it was essential for the North to work for the updating of the return offer of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

He declared him on Saturday, at the Nzeh Mada Festival 2025 in Akwanga, in the area of the local government of Akwanga of the state.

Sule explained that the support for the second mandate of President Tinubu will be a fulfillment of the promise that the leaders of the Region have made on the question in view of the general elections of 2023.

The governor who is the president, the North Central Governors Forum, said that the North is not known for having denied his promise.

He urged the leaders of the Region to disconnect the agitation of some politicians who are willing to cause confusion in politics only because they have not made their personal ambition.

He said the same politicians were among the leaders of the region who sold the candidacy of Tinubu to the people in 2023, but now they are turning to criticize the president.

“Some politicians will always create confusion if they have not been able to achieve what they wanted or achieved their goals. As a Junior governor, therefore, some of the oldest governors told us that the best person for the presidency is Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“They told us that Tinubu can transform Nigeria in the same way that he made Lagos an epicenter of business and trade. It was a demanding period, but we worked hard to bring Tinubu in office. And today, the same people because they could not get what they were looking for, they are criticizing Tinubu who is the worst president that Nigeria has ever produced,” he said.

He said that the North cannot tilt alongside some people who are injured because they have lost in the game of power.

“Well, whether it is the good, the villain or the ugly by grace of God, we are reporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues as president of Nigeria,” he said.

He said that the North has committed that having been in the presidency for eight years, to the south it should have its turn.

“So, we cannot do the opposite, we cannot say something today and say it another tomorrow. So we must be patient and support the president to do his eight -year -olds in charge,” he said.
