Enugu: the president of Awgu greets the residents on Easter

In a sincere Easter message to the inhabitants of the local government area Awgu, the Hon. Uche Okolo has extended warm wishes for joyful and blessed celebration.

The message, delivered during this season of renewal, underlined the themes of rebirth, hope and strength of the community.

“Happy Easter ndi Awgu”, Okolo began while encouraged residents to reflect on the love that unites them and on the resilience that draw from each other, recognizing the meaning of the Easter season as time for gratitude and reflection.

The president praised the governor of the state of Enugu, dr. Barrister Ndubuui Mbah, for his constant dedication to the development of the state.

He highlighted the governor’s impact initiatives in various sectors, including education, agriculture, health care and safety, which had collectively improved the quality of life for residents and contributed positively to the state economy.

Okolo also celebrated the progress made in the area of ​​the local government Awgu under his administration, underlining some of the significant progress such as the installation of solar lampposts, the establishment of over 20 solar wells and ongoing road projects, including the roads for Enugu Smart Green School.

These initiatives observed, reflected the commitment to improve living conditions and open sustainable development.

“While we get together with the family and friends this Easter, we can be full of love, peace and prosperity,” said Okolo, and urged the community to embrace the Easter spirit as a catalyst for a continuous collaboration towards a brighter future.

He underlined the importance of strengthening young people and women, creating jobs and supporting students.

Okolo has reaffirmed his dedication to serve the people of Awgu and his commitment to align with the vision of the governor Mbah for an effective development of the community, wishing all residents a “happy Easter”, full of hope, love and renewed spirit and hoping that the blessings of the season will resonate throughout the community.
