Gwagwalada and Amac launched for a historical confrontation in FCT FA FCT Women’s Inter-Area Final Tournament Tips

The scenario is scheduled for a historical climax for the maiden edition of the Women’s Soccer Tournament of the Inter-Agua councils of FCT, such as the Gwagwalada Women’s team and the AMAC Women’s team prepare to face in the Grand Final on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in the FIFA Too project, National Stadium Package B, Abuja.

Pat Ajuma Ayeggba, a member of the FCT FA Board, expressed a deep satisfaction with the trip so far, praising the collective effort that has given life to vision.

Having previously redeemed his commitment to ₦ 720,000 to support the six participating teams, Ayegba praised the leadership of the FCT FA, especially the president, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, for defending the basic development.

I must sincerely praise the leadership of the FCT FA, particularly our president, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, for believing in this vision and investing to a large extent to make it come true,” said Ayeggba, who also serves as president of the Women’s Football Committee and Sponsors of the Tourno.

“When we invest in young girls, we invest in stronger, brighter future communities and a better society. Observe pride, emotion and determination in the faces of these young players has been my greatest reward.

“We are not only discovering football talents; we are shaping future leaders. I encourage everyone, families, soccer lovers and community members, to come out and support these incredible ladies while pursuing their dreams in the final. Your presence and cheers will mean the world for them.”

In another exciting development, some of the leading players of the tournament will be selected to join the National Women’s Team U15 of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), offering a golden opportunity to launch their national careers.

As the anticipation reaches a high point, the dignitaries of the fraternity of football, the government circles and the community in general are expected to decorate the great final of Sunday, where the story will be made and the first champions of the Women’s Soccer Tournament of the FCT FCT
