Suspect warrior boko haram killing 12 in the borno community

Armed people suspected of being Boko Haram rebels have killed 12 people, including two vigilantous members, in the Bokko Ghide community, the Gwoza regional government in Borno State.

Emir Gwoza, Mohammed Timta, confirmed the incident to journalists in the area on Saturday.

He said the vigilante members were killed along the Kirawa road in Pulka District on Friday.

Timba said: “The other 10 victims were shot dead in the bushes where they were looking for firewood.

“The other two suffered life -threatening injuries.

“We have bury 10 while the injured victims have been taken to Maiduguri for medical treatment.

“Also, two of my civilian JTF members, who sacrificed their lives for my people, were also killed on Friday.”
