Commissioner RMAFC promises the provision of the Akwa Ibom service

The federal commissioner who represents the state of Akwa Ibom in the mobilization of revenue, allocation and in the tax commission (RMMofc), IMO Akpan, has undertaken to improve the provision of services in the State.

Akpan undertook during the meeting with the management and staff of the Commission in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital, weekend.

He stated that the main mandate of the Commission must be persecuted with force and tame in the state of Akwa Ibom during his mandate.

Akpan has promised to ensure that the state office works in synchrony with the headquarters, underlining teamwork to obtain great heights.

“We are reaching great heights if we work in the team. We have to be PaceSetter in the Comita of the state offices of RMAFC,” he said.

He assured the staff that the communication channels would remain open and that their concerns would be duly faced.

The RMAFC has the task of monitoring the slowdowns and disbursements of revenue, the revision of the revenue allocation formulas, they recommend governments on tax efficiency, determine the remuneration for political offices and download it other constitutional functions.

The staff members congratulated Akpan for his appointment and wished him a successful mandate. Mrs. Margaret Archibong, deputy director and state coordinator, praised Akpan to be realistic in facing operational issues in the state of Akwa Ibom.
