Lagos: Sanwo-Ever adopts workers’ requests on well-being

The Governor of the State of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Oell, Thursday, assured the leaders of work in the state that all their requests for better well-being for state workers would have been implemented.

President Bola Tinubu also praised for giving the right leadership to the country.

Governor Sanwo-Elimo gave this guarantee that he spoke white at the celebration of the day of 2025, themed: “claim the civil space in the middle of economic difficulties”, held at the Onikan stadium, Lagos.

He assured that his administration had adopted all the requests made by the leaders of the work

Speaking to the event frequented by the unions and their leaders, who challenged the strong downpour, the governor said: “I’m here to adopt all the speech held by the president of the labor congress Nigeria Nigeria di Lagos Agnes Fassi.

“I adopted his speech and I all agree with all the things contained in the speech would have been made. I also adopt the speech of the President of the Union Congress (TUC), his partner Gbenga Ekundayo.

“We will implement all the things in the speech, and also the speech made by the honorable minister who warned us, who encourages us to do the right thing, we have adopted the speech and we are aware of all the things they put there”.

Sanwo-Ever also informed all the workers of the state that they have all the reasons to be happy because during the negotiations for the new minimum wage, he assured them that he would not have disappointed them and kept his promise.

“We are happy to return and report that during all the negotiations that led to the minimum wages Lagos has kept the promise and we are the largest and higher state than today.”

Sanwo-Oell, therefore, has ensured public employees of the state of a more robust public service and more busy next year.

The President of the State of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), his partner Agnes Fassi, observing the enormous presence at the event, in appreciation of what the governor had done to make the state advance, also for the approval of the minimum wage N85.000 and the payment of the arrears.
