The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) on Thursday demanded a retirement age review for all categories of civil servants for up to 65 years.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero, made a call in his speech at the May Day celebration this year at Eagle Square, Abuja.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 reviewed retirement age for teachers in the country from 60 to 65 years.
Ajaero said: “It is very important to extend the retirement life that is revised 65 years or 40 years of service that is currently enjoyed by teachers, health professionals, and judges for all civil servants.”
