Okocha recommends Osimhen to the transfer move

The former captain of Super Eagles, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, recommended the striker Victor Osimhen at his next move regarding his future of this summer transfer window.

Osimhen’s future with Galatasaray is currently clear.

The 26 -year -old joined Galatasaray with a loan from a Naples season last year.

His loan with the Super Lig Turkish champions expired at the end of May.

Osimhen will leave Napoli with a permanent transfer this summer and Galatasaray is eager to sign it.

But Nigeria international has been connected to several clubs in Europe and also in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking with the Turkish issuer Trt Sport through Haberler, Okocha, who played Galatasaray Fenerbahçe for the Super Lig Rivals of Turkish, urged Osimhen to have sacrifices about his next move.

According to the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Osimhen is happy in Türkiye and the country is an excellent place to play football.

“Turkey is a great place to play and live football,” said Okocha.

“Sometimes, it may be necessary to make sacrifices when making decisions in football.

“Osimhen had a great season in Galatasaray. In the end, he is happy there. Why shouldn’t he be with the team? I love Turkey. He loves him too”

The retired footballer added: “I don’t know [his next destination].

“Wherever he decides to go, I wish him the best.”

Osimhen scored 37 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray during his loan spell with the club last season, winning the golden boot for the top scorer of the Lega of the first Turkish flight.
