The NAF official dies in detention after reporting late due to a disease

The tragedy hit the Nigerian aeronautics (NAF) after the death of an officer, Wulumba as, while the detention against the command of special operations (soc) in the state of Bauchi is needed.

The accident, which aroused indignation between family members and observers, is presumably covered by the military command.

“He should have had a fair hearing or in court, if necessary, not only locked up. My brother gave this country over 20 years of his life. Is this how they repay him?” He complained.

Wulumba leaves a mother in mourning, a wife, four children and her only sister.

The family is now asking President Bola Tinubu and the best military officials to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

The investigations made to the NAF spokesperson in Bauchi, the flight lieutenant Ogili Friday Miracle, produced little clarity.

When contacted by journalists, he said: “I have no information – now we are on vacation”.

When it is pressed further, he added: “If you want information, go to the family. I have nothing to give you.”

The Wulumba family insists that his death was preventable and asks for responsibility by the Nigerian military.

They promise to pursue justice to ensure that managers are taken into consideration.

“We want answers. He didn’t deserve to die like this,” said his sister. “We will not stop until justice is over.”
