The Nigerian police have stated that Inspector General Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the extension of the grace period to enforce the color permit requirements until August 12, 2025.
The statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, the Force head office, Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Saturday said the extension occurred in several concerns and feedback revealed by community members regarding the reactivation of the digital colored glass permit application process.
He revealed that the extension of law enforcement was also intended to provide space for additional improvement and improvement for the application process, ensuring that no community members were too disadvantaged.

“NPF actively works to simplify and increase physical and without contact options including enhanced verification mechanisms and slim procedures to reduce delays and eliminate nonsense discomfort.
Members of the community are reminded that the official platform for application and renewal of colored glass permits can be accessed via possap.gov.ng. Residents are also encouraged to report all unauthorized or hidden accusations and extortion in the journey or biometric arrest7.
