The police operation in Kaduna has killed two alleged armed robbers in the state.
They also arrested two suspects regarding the robbery incident that occurred at Gashash Estate, Barnawa, on Wednesday.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Mansir Hassan, confirmed the incident in a statement in Kaduna.
He said the police received a troubled call around 3:10 in the morning, that eight armed criminals had invaded complex and, stealing valuables such as cellphones, laptops, watches, game consoles, and jewelry.
The spokesman said: “After receiving the call, the Barnawa Division Police Division (DPO) immediately mobilized the patrol team together with DPO Kakuri, Sabon Tasha, and Detachment of Military Military Personnel from 312 Artillery Regiments, Salapanzi, and Swiftly continued to the scene.

“After the strategic pursuit, the suspects were tracked into the main road makera in Kakuri.
“When observing security operators, the robbers involved them in a fierce weapon double. In the process of two armed robbers were neutralized while the other two were arrested.
“Operators recovered a pistol, ammunition, and some of their dangerous weapons.
“Further search and investigation causes the recovery of stolen goods that include seven cellphones, three watches, two laptops, two playstation game consoles, and various kinds of jewelry.”
