A former member of the Federal Parliament representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, said on Wednesday, criticism of the government of the Tinubu Bola President with opposition elements was driven by personal frustration rather than true public interests.

He described the opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai and his colleague who looked at Anambra, Peter Obi, as a dissatisfied politician who had been part of the same company they criticized now.
Sani stressed that the enemies of the Tinubu government were angry because of their exclusion from power, and failed political ambitions.

He rejected the claim that ideological differences separate the opposition from the ruling party.
“When you have a group of elements who are dissatisfied with frustration and gathering, this is not about the country or people – this is only about the excluded of the system.
“It’s not that they are now Marxist or trade unions who face capitalist orders – they all come from the same bourgeois political class.
“They use every opportunity to arm our challenges and present themselves as a better alternative, but many of them have been in power since 1999,” said the former lawmaker.
