Governor Uzodimma appoints Amuneke as Grand Ambassador for sports development in the state of IMO

The governor of the state of imo, Hope Uzodimma, has appointed Olympic gold medal, Emmanuel Amuneke as Grand Ambassador for sports development in the state, reports SilverNews.com.ng.

The Governor of the State made the dissemination while presented his speech on the state of the state in the state IMO NDI in the Chamber of the Shareholders’ Meeting of the State (imha).

Uzodimma explained that the player of the African footballer of the year of 1994 inspired sports development in the state, in particular in the establishment of the IMO dream team.

He said: “His experience and his leadership inspired the IMO Dream Team. Our support did not stop at appearances, we have engaged resources for sports infrastructures, basic coaching programs and scouting, creating a pipeline for future champions”.
