UN data on ‘disinformation’ of Gaza’s death, claims of the Head of Controversial Assistance Group | World News

The Head of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has summoned the figures by the United Nations to those who were killed at the “disinformation” aid center.

The United Nations said that at least 410 Palestinians had been killed looking for food since Israel lifted the 11 -week aid blockade on May 19, while the Gaza Ministry of Health managed by Hamas said at least 549 people had been killed.

Johnnie Moore, GHF Executive Director, told Sky News that there was a “disinformation campaign” that was “intended to cover our efforts” in the Gaza Strip, triggered by “some figures” who came out every day.

Moore, an Evangelist preacher who served as a White House advisor in the first Trump government, said his aid group had sent more than 44 million food to the Gaza people since it began operating in May.

The controversial group, supported by Israel and the United States, has been rejected by the United Nations and other aid groups, who have refused to work with GHF.

Agency -Assistance claims Israel is a food weaponry, and a new distribution system using GHF will be ineffective and cause further transfer from Palestinians.

They also argue that GHF will fail to meet local needs and violate humanitarian principles that prohibit parties who are conflicting in control of humanitarian assistance.

GHF distributes food packages, which they say can feed 5.5 people for 3.5 days, in four locations, with the majority in far southern Gaza.

The head of GHF is ‘really political, really punchy’ in the Sky News interview

@Chesh

It was really political, really punchy, and I thought the core of this problem here was that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation was too political.

The principle of assistance, when applied traditionally, is that it must be applied neutrally and that is what used to happen.

The truck will enter Gaza, and the United Nations will distribute the food. Israel, for a long time, said it was unsuccessful and they blamed Hamas for that.

At the briefing by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office yesterday, they said that Hamas was still looting the aid vehicle, and it came out with plans to stop it. That does not provide evidence for that.

When we asked for evidence, they said we could not swallow Hamas disinformation. That’s the word that has been used. That is very, very political.

This is a different model in doing something. And that is his concern: that instead of just handing it over to a neutral body, this is too close to Israel, too close to the US, and is financially supported by the US.

What is actually implied? Well, if you choose where the sites are located, that means people will move there if you don’t put them in certain places.

The number of distribution sites has been reduced. That is weakened. So, actually, if there are only a few and if there are in southern Gaza, who encourage people to move there, it might be in accordance with political and humanitarian goals.

Thousands of Palestinians walked for hours to reach the assistance center and had to move through the Israeli military zone, where witnesses said the Israeli defense forces (IDF) regularly fired with a series of heavy shots to control the people.

The two figures from the United Nations and the Gaza Ministry of Health managed by Hamas said hundreds of people had been killed or injured.

Responding to Mr. Moore’s comment, Rachael Cummings, saved the leader of the children’s team in Gaza, told Sky News that people in Gaza were forced to enter the decision to take food from the distribution point of food supported by America and Israel, the military, “.

“We did not fight at all that there were victims in the Gaza Strip. I mean, there was no ceasefire. This is an active conflict,” Moore said.

“I think people might not understand clearly what means to operate humanitarian operations on this scale, in this complex environment, on a piece of land as small as Gaza strips, and may not appreciate that almost everything that happens in the Gaza Strip will happen near something.”

Moore said that GHF did not deny that there was a “incident”, but said GHF could talk to IDF, who would conduct an investigation, while Hamas “deliberately injured people because of the purpose of slandering what we did”.

He said GHF, “an independent organization that operates with the US government”, “Achieving its goals” by feeding Gaza people.

It happened after the US State Department announced on Thursday that they had agreed to fund $ 30 million for the GHF for asking other countries to also support the controversial groups that provide assistance in Gaza.

A spokesman from the UN office to coordinate humanitarian affairs told Sky News that they “were open to every practical solution that overcome the crisis on the field” and “happy” to talk to GHF.

The spokesman added that the distribution of assistance in Gaza was not “currently a dignified process and that the format does not follow the principles of humanity”.

He said that people must walk with miles, and there is no scalability, with the help of not reaching everyone in need.
