Nigerian centre-back Victor Collins, has ended his spell with Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars, after having his contract terminated due to months of unpaid wages.
The Enugu-born defender has returned to Singida after completing a loan spell with Tanzanian club Mtibwa Sugar SC.
He has now terminated his contract with his parent club by mutual agreement.
Collins, initially joined Singida Black Stars from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Nasarawa United, on a free transfer. After his termination, he is now officially a free agent and is free to sign with any club.
Delays in monthly salary payments remain a major problem in Tanzanian football and Collins’ case is the latest example of players leaving due to financial disputes.
