Some members of the opposition party in the State of Gombe have formed a coalition to bother the government of all progressives (APC), the government of the governor Inuwa Yahaya.

The Nigerian news agency (NAN) reports that the coalition includes the Popular Democratic Party (PDP), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Labor Party.

It also includes some members in the APC flagini in the state that have chosen to align with the opposition for a common goal.

On Friday at a press conference in Gombe, Mr. Jibrin Barde, candidate for the 2023 Governorate of the PDP, said that the coalition was in the best interest of the people.

Barde said that the administration of the Governor Yahaya had not been able to cope with the promises of the campaign and had not been up to public expectations.

He said the coalition tries to combine opposition parties in order to provide quality leadership and governance in the state.

Barde described the APC government to Gombe as “incompetent and insensitive”, accusing him of not improving the well -being of residents and overall governance.

“We believe that the success of the change of leadership requires unity between the opposition and a purpose shared between people.

“This is not any individual or personality, but a moral duty for everyone to challenge the evil of the APC,” he said.

Barde also underlined the goal of the coalition to eradicate hunger, poverty and poor leadership in the state.

He said they are looking for a responsible, transparent, responsible and competent government that offers a good government and services.

Even speaking, Adamu Modibbo, president of the SDP in the state, said that the move includes children and daughters worried in search of leadership changes in the state of tires.

Modibbo explained that all parties have agreed to put aside the personal ambitions and mobilize the basic support for a better state of tires.

He invited other political groups and residents to join the coalition to reach inclusive governance for the collective benefit of the state.

The president of the ADC Auwal Barde and Benjamin Abner of the Labor Party echoed to similar feelings, committing the unity for the greatest good of the state of Gombe.
