Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi returns to full training

Taiwo Awoniyi, Nigerian international, has returned to complete training with Nottingham Forest following a long period on the sidelines due to an injury.

The 27 -year -old striker lost the last two games of the Premier League of the 2024/25 season after suffering an abdominal injury that requested two separate surgical interventions.

Awoniyi, who was present at the City Ground to watch the final game of the Forest season against Chelsea, has now resumed training while continuing his recovery process.

The coach Nuno Expire Santo should gradually reintegrate the striker to the team to avoid an anntched recurrence.

Last season, Awoniyi did 26 championship appearances for Forest, scoring a goal.
