An American technological society says that its CEO left after being captured on a big screen in a Coldplay concert that embraces a colleague, in a clip that has become viral.
The astronomer said in a statement: “Andy Byron offered his resignation and the board of directors accepted”.
The clip showed a man and a woman who embraced herself on a jumbo screen in the Foxborough Arena, in Massachusetts, before they bowed abruptly and hid from the camera.
The couple was identified in the US media such as Mr Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, Chief People Officer of the company. The BBC was unable to independently confirm the identities of both people in the video.
The company’s declaration declared Saturday: “As previously said, the astronomer is engaged in the values and culture that guided us from our foundation.

“Our leaders should establish the standard both in conduct and responsibility and recently, this standard has not been satisfied.”
The company based in New York said that its advice would start the search for the next leader and their Chief Product Officer would continue to serve as an interim CEO.
The couple’s video swayed to music at the concert on Wednesday evening and quickly looking for hiding earned millions of views.
After seeing the couple Duck, the singer of the Coldplay Chris Martin said to the crowd: “or have a relationship, or they are just very shy.”
The astronomer announced that he was launching an investigation into the relationship and put the CEO on leave shortly after the video became viral. [BBC]
